Harald Schmitz and Andreas Hauri founded rewaco Spezialfahrzeuge GmbH in 1990 with the goal of developing and producing trikes.

The company headquarters are today located in Lindlar, approx. 40 km east of Cologne. Workshop, store, administration and showroom are all located there. With a total of 18 employees in production and administration, each vehicle is individually planned according to specific customer requirements and hand-built. An own production site with 30 employees to date has been operating in Poland since 1994, producing the frames and chassis components.

With an annual production averaging 500 vehicles, rewaco is one of Europe 's biggest trike manufacturers. All rewaco trike models meet the European registration standards (e1*2002/24) and are approved for use on the roads in all EC member states. The various basic models and the equipment versions, which can be individually configured from those, make it possible to meet even unusual customer demands. The program also includes family-friendly vehicles and there is also the option of manufacturing vehicles for disabled riders. Thanks to the versatile range of innovative ideas offered by rewaco's vehicle developers and builders, the fascinating experience of riding a trike has practically no boundaries.

A sales and service network of currently approx. 40 rewaco partners in Germany , as well as importers throughout the whole of Europe , the USA , Japan and Australia ensure presence in the core markets of the triker community, as well as the first class service.
